Super simple to get a new FFL setup with Gunprime. The RR is a blast to shoot and always turns heads. Very much worth it!
this is a lot of fun.ammo is very inexpensive.would buy again.
pretty accurate for fix sights ,shot at 50 yards ,in the cold , 2 bullseye and 10 in a pretty tight group . Had 4 misfires, might have been the ammo . I'm pretty good gun for the price .
I dropped a 22 WMR into the frame as well and it shot even better to point of aim but slightly high and left with the fixed sites. 3 out of 5 in same hole at 25 yds.
Intending to tap and die the top strap to mount a red dot/ scope, I went to the Heritage website to find that they sell the carbine conversion that way. Couldn’t find a way to order the top rail though. So I may have to source my own.
Highly recommend a 22WMR CYLINDER for this revolver because the combination is sooo stable and smooth shooting and the hold is easy with the front weighted balance.
Definitely a game getter in the woods.
It is definitely a conversation piece. It’s also good for when you are shooting with someone that isn’t used to guns. The gun isn’t as intimidating and definitely has no kick obviously. I got a 22 WMR cylinder for it which is awesome to shoot 22 magnums. Kind of wish you could get them with different stocks but they are sold separately. I do have the short version of this gun as well which is also a blast.
