Description
The METE MC9 is the newest offering form Canik. This compact semi auto pistol comes chambered for 9mm, and features a 3.18" barrel, an optics ready slide with a co-witness mount type, an FDE cerakote finish, one 12 round magazine, and one 15 round magazine. The MC9 also includes a finger extension baseplate, backstraps, holster, mag loader, and a tool kit.

The next step in meeting this challenge has now been checked with the introduction of the Canik Mete MC9. The new micro compact pistol has been in the works by Canik for three years, going through multiple internal and aesthetic changes in order to find the optimal performance level demanded by the end user. The Mete MC9 truly was Prepared Superior.
The Canik Mete MC9 is chambered in 9mm with a capacity of 12+1 and 15+1. The MC9 features an overall length of 6.10"; a barrel length of 3.18"; optics ready w.Co-witness. The Mete MC9 comes optics ready with 100% co-witness capability. Each Mete MC9 includes a hard case and includes the two magazines, an IWB holster, three sized backstraps, tool kit and punch, speed loader, pinky rest and cleaning kit.

I've had the MC9 for about a month and have put about 1000 rounds through it, with zero stoppages. There is nothing I don't like about it. It has the excellent Canik trigger, good sights, easy controls, and shoots very well. I didn't find it snappy at all. It has a substantial enough grip to get strong purchase, and while I personally prefer a bit more aggressive texturing, I had no problems holding on during sticky Birmingham summer days. I would recommend it.
